This painting is inspired by the story of Noah’s ark. Noah spent 40 years building this boat and then one of each animal, 2 by 2, boarded the boat in order to escape a flood. It rained for 40 days, when the flood was all over, God gave Noah a rainbow as a covenant to never flood the earth again.
